Vinyasa Yoga in Tulum, México.

Bio

After I graduated from the University with the degree in International Relations. I established in Playa del Carmen in 2004 and work in Public Relations and marketing for both private and the government sector at the Riviera Maya Tourism Board.

In the end of 2008 I fall in love with yoga under the guidance of my first teacher Ellen de Jonge and David Campos in Playa del Carmen at Yoga By The Way Studio. The changes and the way I was feeling after practice impact not only my body but definitely change my lifestyle. I received the support of my teachers, which resulted in my graduation in July 2010 of a 200 hrs Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. I also have been attending to several Master classes and workshops a long these years with experienced and inspiring teachers like Michael Stewart, Fela Adebiyi, Mark Roberts, Kevan Gale, Wayne Krassner.

On September 2014 I finished the GAVY 200 (Gannon Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga 200hrs) with Michael Gannon becoming an enthusiastic practitioner/student of the ashtanga vinyasa yoga system.

In 2017 I traveled for the first time to India. Ashtanga mysore style with Vijay Kummar and philosophy with Arvind Pare were my practices for the two months spend there.

These days I continue practicing and studying with my teachers and new teachers attending to workshops, the most recently was this February 2020 with David Kyle, Jhonna Smith and Michael Gannon at the Ashtangapalooza Festival.

I encourage my students to approach their practice with laughter, self study and non violence, with a foundation on Patanjali's Eight Fold Path, the Eight limbs of Yoga.

I share Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga in Tulum, for all levels, all ages and people from all around the globe.

This is my life, this is what fills me with joy and keeps me feeling complete and free.

“When you commit to a regular practice, your body changes, feeling stronger, more balanced and flexible, but it also impacts your spirit in such a positive way that your whole life begins to shine connecting you with the planet with the people around you, feeling happy and positive and strong.

My practice has changed over time and I think it is like a mirror, showing me where I can grow and where I need to accept and practice patience, it has helped me to live my life more freely to become a better person..."
