This was the first 10 day Vinyasa Yoga Immersion at my home shalita, in Tulum, Mx.
“Repetition through consistent and uninterrupted practice is the foundation for staying focused and present, one breath at a time. From my center, I can see, I can feel, I can decide. Moment by moment, I live my life in the flow, observing what arises and choosing the best way to experience it.”
For 10 days, 2 hours a day, a group of women committed to this journey from April 21st to the 30th. The challenge was simple: no matter if you were tired, didn’t sleep well, or weren’t feeling your best that day—you still showed up on your mat to practice your yoga sadhana. The intention was to witness the effects of a sustained and undistracted practice, supported by an intimate group.
The impact of this immersion in the lifestyle is remarkable.
So I will tell my students, Bob Marley style:
So now that you’ve seen the light….
it requires consistency to keep feeding the flame within yourself.
We have ignited the practice—now it is your responsibility to keep showing up for yourself.
These practices help you stay grounded on your dharma path. A sustained practice sustains your life. The practice becomes the pillar of your life.
Congratulations on beginning your yoga path. Your practice is the way!
